Doraemon: Nobita's New Great Adventure into the Underworld - The Seven Magic Users which was the movie that was released in year 2007 in Japan, is scheduled to be aired on local TV channel, Channel 8 on Tuesday, 27 January 2009, at 10am. What's Doraemon: Nobita's New Great Adventure into the Underworld - The Seven Magic Users about?
It's an adventure to a magical world! A mission to save the Earth led by the seven warriors! What's Nobita up to this time? "If I am able to use magic, I suppose that everything I do will go smoothly." One day, Nobita and Doraemon with the help of Moshimo-box, wishes for the world to become a place where the use of magic is possible. Witchcraft replaces science and technology and everyone makes use of it on their daily lives, except for Nobita, who, like usual, isn't very good at conjuring spells. One day, Doraemon and his friends meet Professor Mangetsu, who studies magic and magical beings, and his daughter Miyoko, and are warned of the dangerous approximation of the "Star of the Underworld" to the Earth's orbit. If this goes on, Earth will be destroyed by the "Star of the Underworld". They yearn to return to their original, peaceful world. However, as the "Star of the Underworld" approaches, frequent earthquakes and other abnormal phenomenon continues to occur throughout Earth. The legendary seven warriors has finally appear! Doraemon: Nobita's New Great Adventure into the Underworld - The Seven Magic Users is a remake of the year 1984 Doraemon movie, Doraemon: Nobita's Great Adventure into the Underworld. The trailer for this year 1984 edition can be found here. There are no subtitles in this trailer as well. By comparing the movie posters and the trailers. I am sure that you would have noticed the differences by now. The year 2007 edition features better graphic and sound. The colour for the year 2007 edition is also more vibrant. Which one do you prefer more? =D

Although Doraemon: Nobita's New Great Adventure into the Underworld - The Seven Magic Users is said to be a remake of the Doraemon: Nobita's Great Adventure into the Underworld, the storyline for the year 2007 edition is slightly tweaked and some addition of new characters so that when we are watching it, we will be familiar with the characters but we wouldn't know exactly what will happen next. That is indeed a refreshing change and one wouldn't be bored from watching the remake even though he/she had watched the year 1984 edition before.

I owned both movies and if you ask me which one I prefer more, I shall say the year 2007 edition is the one that I love. The storyline is tweaked so that it's more touching and of course, not to forget the lovely graphics and audio quality! ^0^
